Hello!
My name is Tabitha, and I am a wife and mother.
You can usually find me reading my Bible while drinking coffee and entertaining my son, convincing my husband to clean the house yet again, or hiking with my family.
What uncovered joy is all about
I am passionate about growing in my relationship with Christ and encouraging others to do the same. I believe that the Bible is God’s love letter to us, and the best way to grow in our knowledge of God is to read what He has to say. In turn, God’s word will also read us, as the Holy Spirit uses it to convict and change us from the inside out.
I believe that everything we do should bring glory to God, whether staying home to raise the next generation, going to work and ministering to others, or hiking with the family.
I am also all about uncovering joy in everyday life. For me, this means embracing a simple lifestyle to make time and room for those we love. I like to find ways to spend less time cleaning so that I can spend more time with my family. Often, this means decluttering and organizing, while also finding those fun cleaning hacks to save time.
I enjoy living a slow and simple life where I make own own breads, buy organic produce when we can afford it, and sustainably purchase or make our own non-toxic products.
Feel free to take a look around and see how you can uncover joy in your everyday life too!

Grow in your relationship with Christ
I have always loved reading my Bible (I read through it entirely by the time I was 13), memorizing it (I participated in Bible quizzing where I memorized countless verses and even a couple books), and studying it. Because of this, I have created a Bible study to help you uncover joy in reading your Bible too!
Genesis Bible Study
Genesis is the first book of the bible and is filled with many adventurous stories of heroic biblical characters. It also gives us the beginning of God’s redemptive story in our lives as we walk alongside these characters and learn from them.
Embrace Slow Living
The idea of slow living stems from wanting to live a more intentional life. Whether you are overwhelmed with the demands of your current life, dissatisfied with the monotony, or annoyed with the abundance, slow living allows you to say “no” to what doesn’t matter so you can embrace and say “yes” to what does.
Slow Living
It is so easy to get caught up in the craziness of this world, never having time to do the things we deem important. We shift from one fad to the next, scrolling through social media if we happen to have a free minute on our hands. This is a passive lifestyle that guarantees burnout and dissatisfaction. But what if there were a different option? A lifestyle that allowed you to slow down and make time for what is truly important. This is the art of slow living.
